Who is Ted Smith?

Ted Smith is the owner of Green Team Management LLC, formed over 15 years ago as a company focused on bringing the best in Lawn and Tree Care Professionals together in the Treasure Valley.

He has owned and managed Lawn Care and Pest Control companies (see www.gtm-llc) for years, but now operates as a specialist in Tree Care and Pest Control.

ISA Certified Arborist with Tree Risk Assessment Qualifications he is also a Licensed Pest Control Operator. He is a Licensed Restricted Use Pesticide Dealer with the Idaho State Department of Agriculture and offers training as well as DIY programs for Home Owners in all aspects of Landcare, Pest Management and Tree Care. He has worked as an independent contractor for companies such as Agrium in the Northwest from Seattle to St George Utah with a program called Green Team Systems that educates Arborist and Professional Pest Applicators.

The Tree Health Care Education Program under Green Team Management SeeGrow systems is part of a five booklet education series published by Smith to cover all aspects of DIY. Smith is an author of 14 books published on Amazon which includes a Business Consulting Series.

Certified as a Master Gardner under Will Cook, the extension manager for the fruit farms in Emmett Idaho; part of his specialized service is directing correctional pruning for ornamental as well as fruit tree prunes. He no longer prunes himself due to a shoulder injury but has trained several companies that he directs in the pruning processes. His pruning and pest control classes are available at D&B Supply and TruValue Hardware stores in Idaho.
