What is a Tree Evaluaton?

There are different options for Tree Evaluations.

Green Team Management offers:

A Home Owners Tree Health Review. This includes a illustrated booklet the Home Owner keeps to explain the way soil, irrigation, planting and pruning effect the tree. This helps the Home Owner know how to take care of their trees.

In the Evaluation the Home Owner is being educated on the environment the tree is trying to grow in and the best management practices to insure it is healthy for the long term.

We strongly recommend home owners go through this first step to better understand the health and care of their trees.

The next option is Tree Risk Assessment. This is a formal written report which, as requested by the client, can be as simple as a visual inspection or as complex as excavation and load bearing test.

Normally a Health Review is done first to determine what needs to be done to provide the information necessary for the assignment.

The third option is a Tree Appraisal. This is either for the value of a tree or landscape plant before or after damage, and is under the guidelines of the Council of Tree & Landscape Appraisers Guide (10th Edition). Under these guidelines there are several valuation methods used to determine the value of the plant or tree in question.
